I've been a fan of Wonder Woman going as far back into my childhood as I can easily recall. After the events of Infinite Crisis (Infinite Crisis), the DCU fast forwarded to after a year when no one had seen or heard from Wonder Woman, Superman, or Batman. I was a bit concerned about the direction of a new title, but the first year on the series really brought about some amazing Wonder Woman adventures. And this is the first Annual in that new run. Not to go too heavily into spoilers, but the entire plot revolves around Wonder Woman having to battle most of her Rogue's Gallery all by herself... That is until the cavalry, a who's who of DCU heroes and heroines, shows up to help turn the tide. The action and artwork is AMAZING, and I thoroughly enjoyed seeing Wonder Woman come to terms with a year of turmoil, finally realizing her destiny of who she is and what that means. This is a great addition to add to your collection if you're a Wonder Woman fan, and they're still available at decent prices. If you're a Wonder Woman fan like me, I don't think you'll be disappointed.
