You should be making soap! Feb 04, 2012

I had never made soap, saw directions in a magazine, and decided to try it out. Oh my gosh! This is SO fun and SO easy. Cut some creamy white chunks. They melt quickly in the microwave. Then you add a little food coloring, and something for scent. Pour in a mold (silicone molds are great!). I was impatient and had no essential oils, so I added spices and/or citrus zest for scent. I got carried away and ground oatmeal to make clove-oatmeal facial soap... Just couldn't stop. The soaps make beautiful gifts, look extravagent, and are SO simple AND creative!
