Description:

The Vt-150, Visi Therm Heater is a deluxe heater that helps your aquarium maintain a constant, ideal water temperature regardless of room temperature. The unit uses 150 Watt and is great for 75-gallon tanks. The Vt-150 includes a click set temperature select dial, waterproof double insulation, double suction mounting bracket, temperature settings indicator, on-off indicator light, double strength glass component housing, three position viewing window, and an insulated heat element. To use, attach the suction cups onto the heater at the positions indicated and the place the heater vertically or horizontally in the aquarium where there is good water circulation. The unit is fully submersible. Be sure to allow the heater to sit in the water for 15 minutes before plugging in.

I find the Visi-therm heaters to be the easiest to set,very accurate,and very easy to see what temperature you are set at, the degrees are clear on the heater,and with the clicking control knob there is no guessing,The water temp is exactly what you set it for, The only aquarium heater I will ever use !

With about 15 years in the aquatic hobby, Marineland's Visi-Therm Deluxe heaters have become the only brand I'll trust in my tanks. I own 7 or so of these heaters (various wattages), all have proven extremely reliable, very accurate and of exceptional quality. I've used many brands, this is the only one that has yet to disappoint. Now, if they would just make an in-line canister version....

The delivery was a little rough, scrunched into a box too small to hold it properly. And, it required some assembly, the suction cups had to be fitted into the bracket - a little difficult, but I was able to handle it. The features of the heater itself are very nice, the power lite and temperature scale are very nice.
