Brilliance Starlite Black Ink Pad Dec 30, 2011
By Gina R. Okay, so when I bought this it was by accident. I meant to get the Graphite Black, but let me tell you, I LOVE it!! It is a beautiful black with just a hint of shimmer.. perfect! I am so glad I got this one! Definitely a must-have for stampers!

Great ink. Pad is slightly smaller than expected Nov 03, 2011
By R. S. Garbacz I bought this ink to go with an idiosyncratic, locally-made stamp. The stamp itself was less deeply engraven than I had hoped, so I was glad to find that this ink applied smoothly and dried nicely without too much pressure. The color is a deep burgundy with copper specks that seem to group around the edges, creating a metalic sheen without letting the metal overwhelm the ink. I was skeptical at first, but it seems to work. I attached a couple of photos, but they don't do justice to the way this shines copper at certain angles, then fades at others.
My only real complaint--and it is probably spurious--is that the size reported reflects the packaging, not the ink pad itself. The pad measures a little over 3 inches wide and an eighth under 2 inches tall. This is quite a bit less than the 3.9x2.8 product dimensions. If that fits your stamp, great. It fit mine, but only barely, and I had expected it to fit my stamp with room to spare.
I'm not sure what other uses I might find for stamps in the future, but I know that I'd gladly be a repeat-customer of Tsukineko's Brilliance line if the situation arises.
Starlite Black &Starlite Silver Ink Pads Feb 04, 2012
By Cupcake Monster I'm not an ink/stamp expert and I've only used stamps as I was a child so that's where I'm coming from :) I'm helping my sister with her wedding and just wanted to do some DIY crafts so I bought some stamps. I wanted some ink that would look good on kraft paper. Another reviewer said that they bought the Starlite black so I thought I'd give it a shot. I also wanted to try a silver color so I bought that as well. Wasn't sure what to expect since there were no samples to look at.
As for color, I loveeeee the Starlite Black (Thanks fellow reviewer~)! It's a little sparkly so it makes it a little more special than just regular black. I've attached some pictures since that will show more than I could ever explain. The silver looks nice too but is a little too faint on the kraft paper I have. Will probably look really nice on a dark color paper so will try that once I get some. Not sure if this matters, but the silver ink had an distinct smell when I uncovered it (unlike the black that had no smell unless I put my nose to it). Also the top plastic cover on the silver had some ink on it since it's touching the ink pad unlike the black ink pad that had no ink on it (I took a picture to show). I guess it's no big deal but I thought I mention it.
Anyways, they both dry quickly. I let it sit for a couple minutes and then rubbed my finger across. No smearing on both colors :D Yay! I'm pretty happy. I might buy some more colors :)
