I have many pairs of needles from 40 years of knitting. This case holds almost all my needles and makes it easy to find the size I need. The smaller pockets aren't the best as the needles tend to fall out if the zipper isn't closed. But this isn't a dealbreaker. I like the little notions pocket, too.

I'd looked at several different needle holders before I bought this one. I couldn't believe the outrageous prices some manufacturers were demanding. This needlecase is a great value. It can hold tall needles, dp needles, and even has two pockets for gadgets. There are enough pockets to hold all my straight needles, and the zipper keeps them from falling out. My only objection is the design on the fabric. Black and silver would not be my first choice. The fabric itself is strong, soft, and seems durable.

The zipper is of poor quality. It broke the first time I tried to use it after placing my knitting needles in it, and attempting to zip it up. I will send it back and try a different design rather than trying this type again. I do not have an overabundance of needles and did not overload it, but rather filled it as demonstrated on the packaging.
