 Good Quality, Good games Aug 25, 2010

The quality of the discs that i recieved were phenomenal. The games are good and will kill time when you cant sleep, rainy day, etc. Gothic 3 has a namazing backstory for someone that loves elder scrolls (where Nords and Orcs are usually fighting side-by-side in elder scrolls, theyre having a war in Gothis 3, which really gives any rpg nerd ants in his pants. Loki is fantastic altogether, and when you feel like youve been the hero/goodguy for far too long, Loki will seriously quench your thirst for evil. Dungeon Lords provides hours of fun for anyone and make a hearty game for dungeons and dragons seem boring. I'm an amateur musician, and I record stuff on a weekly basis. When i come back from practice, restless from excitement, or drained from grueling hours of working with sound equipment and playing rythm guitar, these games rally help me chill. the only thing that bothered me was that the manual was missing, but for $2.82, yes, $2.82, WHO CARES?!. fast shipping, and good quality.

These games are pretty unimpressive. They feel to me like games that simply weren't good enough to get released by themselves, so they bundled three together and hoped someone would buy it. You'll probably have more fun playing flash games online than bothering with these.

LOKI:
I believe that Loki came out in 2006 or 2007, but I have played better games in the late 1980's and early 1990's. This game is way behind the times. Basically all you do is traipse through fields and caves, kill monsters, pick up what they drop, find a treasure chest here and there. Hours and hours of point and shoot and pretty much nothing more.
The few little villages have a couple of sales people and a blacksmith in the center, and there are a couple of people to give you a quest.
The graphics are better than the games in the 1980's, but I have never fallen for the advertizing that great graphics makes a great game. I would rather have a good game than good graphics.
I have nothing else to do right now, so I play the game. But man, it's lack of imagination and creativity is aggravating. The game is uninspired, uninspiring, and tedious to play.

I'm going to change my disappointed review somewhat. While this game is very tedious and old style, it is also very simple. Because of it's simplicity it may be a good game for younger or newer players. Very definitely not a game for a seasoned player.
GOTHIC 3:
Much more interaction with others in this game. Many towns and people, and people to find outside of the towns. There is the standard WSAD for movement. There is some mouse action like hold the right button and click with the left, and others for different attacks. This I don't like or do. I just like hack and slash.
You get killed so easily and repeatedly in the beginning of the game. SAVE,SAVE,SAVE,SAVE. Save after every enemy you kill, human or otherwise. Save after every important event. Save every several minutes of running around doing things. YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN YOU MIGHT BE KILLED.
Tip for killing groups of enemies (warrior character): Approach slowly with a sword and get the attention of only one or two. As he/it approaches you, run away and lead it far enough away that when you fight with it the others won't be attracted to the battle. SAVE the game and repeat the process of a slow approach. Shooting an arrow at one of the group and the whole group comes after you.

Never mind the other games, Loki is worth the price for this game pack.
If you like to point and shoot, this is the game for you. It has pretty great graphics and is a ton of fun.

I received exactly what ordered & initially pleased with the quality, packaging, and receiving it in a very timely manner!
* PROBLEM: The games on this CD don't work on my XP computer - I can execute any of the programs and there is a "blip" but nothing happens further. I've been busy so haven't had time to contact the seller about this glitch.
Can't rate the game if I can't get it to run. :o/
