Not worth it Nov 29, 2007
By Glen A. Warholic It is too difficult/impossible to align and very very fragile and
a typical flight is very short as it does not hold a charge well

CNC TOYS- REMOTE CONTROL VENOM HELICOPTER Oct 11, 2007
By Melvin Kim I BUY ALL SORTS OF FUN THINGS, BECAUSE I DIN'NT GET ENOUGH TOYS WHEN I WAS A KID (AGE 50 NOW). SINCE TOYS BY NATURE BREAK, BUYING FROM A COMPANY THAT BACKS THEIR PRODUCT, AND HAS A FAIR CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT IS CRITICAL. AFTER CRASHING AND BURNING SEVERAL HELICOPTERS RECENTLY, MY HOBBY SHOP RECOMMENDED THE VENOM MICRO RESCUE HELICOPTER, BY CNC TOYS/DESIGN. I FOUND IT ON AMAZON.COM, WHO SENT IT PERFECTLY. NEEDING SOME 101 FLYING LESSONS, AND HAVING A PART QUESTION, ANDREW FROM CNC DESIGN RESPONDED THE SAME DAY! GETTING IMMEDIATE CUSTOMER SERVICE ON A $25.00 TOY WAS . . . UNBELIEVABLE. CONSEQUENTLY, I AM FLYING SOLO NOW, AND WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS MODEL MADE BY CNC TOYS. I OWN 2 COPTERS BY CNC, AND ORDERING 6 MORE. FOR THE PRICE, JUST BUY IT!

When you think of "Made in China", think of this. Dec 28, 2007

I purchased this same helicopter from another on line vendor who didn't accept returns for this particular toy. I now know why. They knew it would fail and didn't want to be responsible for handling the thousands of unsatisfied customers. Honestly, for the cost, I expected to get about a month of use from it after my kid removed it from his Christmas Stocking. Instead, it lasted 1 flight and I'm assuming that when the helicopter crashed, something was knocked loose that caused all subsequent "flights" to be nothing more than something that looked like a wounded bird flopping around on the ground. And no, the trimming function was no help. I'm not stupid and I understand some things about the effect of slight weight changes on flight dynamics, but I tried counter weighing and adjusting the tail to off set the nose dipping and nothing has worked. Sure this toy company has a webpage but its USA version is written in broken engrish and you can forget returning it directly to the manufacturer for repair or replacement. The cost to ship it to China would twice exceed the price paid. There was no USA distributor that I could find. You'll have more fun folding a piece of paper into an airplane than using this frustrating piece of crap.

Flawed toy Nov 28, 2007

I've used some of the other copters notably by Air Hogs and nothing steers "great" in the $20 range but this toy unfortunately does not steer nearly as well (not that the Air Hogs line is all that great). You would be better off with some of the other copters.
This toy uses an infrared controller not RC (like all the others at this price).

Very Unhappy Jun 16, 2008
By stacers69 I ordered this for my son for his birthday because he just had to have it. I was leary about ordering it online, but I read the reviews and description and it looked OK. I should have gone with my first instinct. The helicopters run time was very limited, which made the fun factor not there, because you had to keep stopping to recharge. The part where you pulled in the charger broke about the 3rd time we hooked it up, and the material of construction was very poor. I read my invoice and found out that I could not return it for a refund. very unhappy
