on the megatech interceptor jet-blue model Sep 26, 2009
By k. from connecticut product description accurate. moderately small, styrofoam-weight, 30 minute maximum portable recharge - compensates for running out of juice easily. first time rc plane buyer. easy to maneuver with loops after practice with throttle. st-trim adds good feature and flashing red formlights make it easy to find at dusk or night. good range, attitude, and height. climes slowly but easy to keep high. durability: multiple full speed crashes without any noticeable deterioration. however slower than other models, and most likely lacks corkscrews. inexpensive purchase for novices as myself. exciting and fun. makes park-goers jealous. probably one of the better deals on amazon.

Perfect purchase Dec 19, 2009
By Reader Mom We bought this plane for our 11 year old son. It was a great purchase. It is fast enough to be fun, but easy enough for him to operate. It even survived a maiden voyage that ended up in the lake. Highly recommended.

super fun, but broke Feb 19, 2011

you need a pretty large space to fly this, and it cannot compete against wind. it it fun to fly this at night , since the LEDs tell you its direction. it lives up to what the package says it can do(looping). i have even manage to do about 10 loops nonstop before i lose control and it levels out. i also like how it charges from the controller in 30 minutes.
now the downside. even though this is a sturdy toy, the right motor burned out. no matter how much i trimmed it, the right motor can only put out 50% power, rendering the thing useless.

SAVE YOUR MONEY Dec 02, 2010
By Sadly Disappointed Well my girlfriend bought this as a B-Day gift, thinking it would be a nice entry RC Plane to play with. Well to be frank the thing stinks. Sure it does "Loop De Loops" thats all the thing does, no matter what trim you set it to or what direction you have it pointed on the remote, or how much throttle it does the same thing, spin around and around and crash into the ground within 15 seconds. I tried it on different days in different locations with ZERO WIND so I know that's not the problem. Also it's Styrofoam and maybe 5 inches in length, it's nothing more than a glorified glider with two cheap propellers whose only purpose is to make it crash into the ground harder. As for the range... 500 ft is complete BS too, the one time I actually got the thing to stay in the air more than 15 seconds (was still spinning aimlessly in circles) it was out of range and crashed (I was only about 50 feet away max.) Do yourself and whoever you're buying it for a favor, and spend more on a better plane, or better yet just buy a big Styrofoam glider, its the same thing.

Lots of fun Mar 13, 2011
By fifer Novice RC fliers will find this plane fun and easy to fly. For the first-timer who needs a plane durable enough to withstand many crashes, and agile enough to offer the challenge of learning trim control and power application, this plane is an outstanding value. With no previous experience in RC flying, I still managed to get this plane aloft and relatively under control within the first 20 minutes of flying time. I am flying over grassy areas (which helps increase the plane's life expectancy) rather than more unforgiving surfaces like concrete or asphalt. Really a Fun Flyer!
