This is a great way to organize all your thread so that you can see what you have without rummaging through. The legs allow it to stand on a table top, or the legs fold completely flat so that you can hang it on the wall. This fits any size regular thread. I have all my 500 yd dressmaker spools on one row, and they fit comfortably. If you have larger spools use the cone thread rack 60 Cone Thread Rack

Very pleased with product. Sewing is a major past time and my collection of threads is quite large. This product perfect for organizing my threads. I bought two - one for regular sewing threads and the other for threads for my embroidery machine.

I bougt this to manage my ever expanding thread collection (as I'm assuming most people are considering if you are reading this review)which it does perfectly. Its all wood and the legs on it work just fine, but I decided to mount mine on the wall because table space is rather limited in my craft room. The only down side is that it doesn't come with any mounting hardware, but my husband just secured it directly to the wall by drilling holes through the legs (since I don't need them) and screwing the whole thing to the wall. It doesn't really weigh much so its not really an issue. Since my thread collection is not currently big enough to completely fill the rack I'm using one of the lower rows to store my bobbins on, 2-3 bobbins will fit on a single peg, just not on top of a thread spool, though it is possible to stack the thread spool ontop of the bobbin.
This rack definetly fit my needs, would have gotten 5 stars if it included mounting hardware.
I would absolutely reccomend this to a friend.

This is just what I wanted. I drilled a hole in each top arm. I mounted on my wall above my sewing table. I have every thing at my finger tips.

I bought this for my mom for Mother's Day two years ago and she absolutely loves it. She has it hanging on the wall next to her sewing desk so she can easily grab whichever color she wants without searching or digging around. I also got her a few sets of the Bobbin Mates which are little rods that pop into the top of the thread spindle and you put the matching bobbin on them to keep them paired. It's such a time, money, and space saver. She sews constantly and still makes comments to me about how much she loves it. Probably the best gift I've ever given her considering it has made such a positive difference for her.
