Cute, but not what I expected Aug 17, 2011

I was looking for a product to punch out mini envelopes. And this product does exactly that. I never had any issues with getting even edges cut and tried with several different weights/types of paper, with no issues. The envelopes were very small, but I had seen this product in a craft store before so I knew what to expect.
My only issue with this is that the description and product image made it appear as if the envelopes would fold and rest that way. But they don't. For all of mine (with all the types of paper I tried), I had to use glue or clear tape in at least one place to get them to stay somewhat closed. If you're only looking to make a couple at a time, it's not a huge problem, but I needed to punch over 50 of these as part of a gift, so I had hoped for a little more.

This punch does exactly what it's supposed to. Perfect punches time after time. A great tool. Really wish I had purchased it sooner.

Everyone I send my mini-envelopes to loves them! It is easy to use on any sort of paper (although it does get a little snagged on curved paper, like wrapping paper. It is definitely worth a purchase!
