Good in larger sizes Apr 22, 2010

I have the Susan Bates Luxite hook in size Q. It works very well in that size. I'd hesitate to order smaller luxite hooks, because they are so lightweight and the plastic feels cheap (just because it's plastic). I prefer a little heft in my hooks. Aluminum feels nicer, but for Q size hooks, luxite is fine. The stitches are so large that the hook glides right through them.
