Wonderfully sharp, smooth, and responsive Jan 06, 2011

These scissor blades have super sharp that cut very easily. This allows you to easily make exact cuts and greatly reduces the chance of tearing. The steel is very nice and I expect the edge to hold well over time, though it is definitely a pair that will be worth sharpening instead of replacing when the time finally does come.
The blades will need an occasional drop of oil or silicon to stay in the best shape.
The only user I might not recommend these for is someone with bigger hands (at least who does a lot of cutting at once). Even though they will allow you to work quickly the handles are not oversized and not padded so big fingers will cramp over time. I can't really consider that a con as they will fit someone with small to medium sized hands very well and any given pair can only be one size, and they will be fine for a little usage here or there regardless.
