Does not punch paper! Nov 09, 2009
By D. Peters The first punch I received did not punch a clean circle. Always at one spot, the paper would not cut. I tried thick paper, thin paper, card stock, single sheets, multiple sheets. Nothing worked. I sent it back (quick turnaround from Amazon!) and the second one was even worse.
I emailed the company for advice, and was told to punch waxed paper and aluminum foil to sharpen and lubricate the punch. This did not help at all. I find it hard to believe that this punch did not punch paper, but I had no luck. I have sent the second one back and am now searching for another way to punch a 2 3/4 inch circle.

DO NOT BUY THIS TOOL. Nov 02, 2009
By M. Smith I would NOT recommend this tool to anyone. It is the single most infuriating paper tool I have ever used. It does not cut consistently or cleanly and gets stuck after every punch. The cutter itself is not sharp and the mechanics are a complete failure. You have to stand over it, use both hands and alot of elbow grease just to cut through a single sheet of paper and once you've finally punched your oval, it is jagged and tattered and after nearly every cut, the punch is stuck so that you cannot remove the paper (you have to manually push the punch back open). I purchased this tool to cut 250 individual ovals out of medium weight cardstock and after about 15 cuts, I would rather cut each oval out individually, by hand. DO NOT BUY THIS TOOL.

Good size oval... Jun 11, 2009

very useful for tags and small matts but not a clean cut- must always shear of a little jaggedness on one end of the shape. Irritating, that.

A lil unlucky Mar 30, 2011
By su Reading all the good reviews here, I decided to get myself one but I was a lil unlucky to get one with an un-sharp corner. So the end result will never be a clean scallop circle :(

Love this item Oct 18, 2008

I love this nesting punch. It is bigger than the Marvy Punch, but it
has a good sturdy feel to it. Nice crisp, clean cut. Well worth the price.
