The thread is a single spool of variegated pastels - not the colors shown in the photo. I received a mix of Easter colors, which I do not like - baby pink and blue with pastel yellow and green - not beige, grey-blue and/or lavender as shown. This is not at all what I wanted or expected based on the photo, and the description didn't explain the difference either.
The thread itself is basic cotton, nothing special, on a large spool to make it appear like a generous amount. The package says it's 350 yards and yet the description here at Amazon said it would be 400 yards.
It also appears 2-ply to me, not 3-ply as described, but I'm not an expert and could be wrong about this point.
Order this product if you don't care what color you get or what amount you get (and who doesn't care about color and yardage in a crochet project??).
