I purchased this for my six year old niece and sent it along with a disposable camera. She loved it. It is a fun way to start her on scrapbooking.

I liked it. And I hope my niece will have fun with it. However, I think I have seen it at Target for a little bit less. With all the good deals I got from Amazon so far, I didn't get upset at all. Thanks!

Perfect Gift for a Tween Girl Oct 28, 2011

Tween girls are a little...dare I say it...self-involved? This isn't a bad thing, for the most part. I think that this is the age to foster self-confidence and self-image. So, when racking my brain to find an age appropriate gift for my tween cousin I came upon this idea. First of all, it allows a girl to express her creative side. In this modern day of cell phones, computers, and video games kids really do not work with their hands and create anything any longer. It's kind of sad really, but hey, what are you gonna do. Secondly, there is no Hannah Montana, Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Katie Perry, Ke$ha, or Nikki Minaj on anything anywhere in this kit. Which is a welcome break from the pop star overdose we seem to be experiencing in this country. Finally, This scrap book is all about them. What they like, memories they made. Which is right up the self-involved tween girl aisle. My recommendation...if your little girl (I know she thinks she's not little) likes to decorate her room and her school folders, she will love making a scrapbook all about her favorite person...herself.

I bought this scrapbook kit to go with a new POGO Digital camera for my daughter...she loves that she can make it her own. Pleased with product.
