I am a saver and hated to pitch my used rotary cutter blades. This sharpener makes new blades out of ones too dull to work well. Don't let looks deceive you. It really works. So simple, just a few twists of the sharpener on both sides of a dull blade and the blade is like new. Even takes out small nicks from dropping the cutter. Only problem is what to do with so many "new" blades and keep track of which are renewed and which need renewed.
