 Makes chenille blankets fast and fun Mar 04, 2011

After making a large chenille baby blanket using scissors, my numb hands and I decided it was time to invest in a chenille cutter. The Clover Slash Cutter has made chenille projects incredibly fast, much easier, and less stressful! The guard on the bottom ensures that you don't risk cutting the backing fabric (a risk with the scissors), and the sharp blade made short work of the cutting. It's much less taxing on my hands than using scissors to cut through the fabric layers, and also makes much more even cuts. The finished product turned out beautifully. I'm thrilled!

With this purchase you get both the regular and the shorter guide which lets you easily cut a variety of sewn channels to make chenille.

I bought this to help with faux chenile blankets. It cut through 3 layers of flannel without any issues! I would reccomend it! I did, later, find it at my local JoAnn's after it was restocked!

I was looking for a cutter that would cut the table paper on an exam table. This requires two hands and is difficult to get started. I had hoped for something simple that would work well. It just doesn't help me. May be fine for other purposes.

I was sent a different item, it was a rotary cutter, not the clover slash cutter that I ordered. Not sure why I was sent this item when I ordered the clover cutter and there was a picture of the item when I ordered it, and I got something totally different. I was VERY disappointed and now have second thoughts about ordering on Amazon. The seller did refund the cost and I returned the item.
