 Do not use on metallic card stock Jul 16, 2010

Pretty ink, but there should be a note somewhere on the packaging that states not to use this on metallic card stock. It won't dry. No, let me rephrase: It will dry after a few weeks, but most likely this will be too late for your project. Again, pretty, but I just wished it said what you can and can't use it on somewhere.

This ink looks great, but does not dry unless you let it sit for a LONG time, meaning over a week at least. It smears to the touch. I noticed these are really meant for embossing (stamp with this ink, use embossing powder over it, then use the embossing heat tool (not a hair dryer) to dry it). When used for embossing, it comes out beautiful - but that takes time and more equipment/money. When using as a regular stamp, don't even bother. Get the permanent dye ink, not pigment ink.

So let me start by saying this ink is BEAUTIFUL, especially on dark papers. I used it on a dark purple UNCOATED envelope. Kathleen mentioned in her review it didn't dry, but she implied that it might be because of the paper she used. If there were a paper it should dry on, it would be the uncoated stock I used, but after 24 hours and the use of a blow dryer, it still smears everywhere. I just wasted 50 beautiful, hand made envelopes. I'm realllllly pissed.
