Designed for the most advanced electronics for user safety and accurate control of water temperature. In the event of accidental exposure of the heater to the air, the heater will cut off the power source automatically. The heater will resume its operation after temperature returns to normal.
Fast heating. Unbreakable and submersible.Scale read out indicates setting temperature. Light indicates heater on and off cycle.Amperage 2.7A. Approximate water volume in liters 300-400 or 80 - 100 gallon tank. Heating rod 12in length approximate.
NEVER position the wall plug in the reverse position. Condensation will flow from the wire to the controller unit which will casue malfunction and damage of the controller unit. PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS ON POSTIONING AND PRECAUTIONS TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO YOUR HEATER.

I put two of these into a 125 gallon tank. They've done fine for over 6 months. What a relief that I don't have to fiddle with them or second guess what they are doing.

I've been through a lot of heaters. I have yet to find a decent one of those glass heaters with the temperature adjustment dial on top. I have come to hate those. What's so hard, in this decade when we take pictures of planets circling distant stars, about making a reliable, repeatable, and decently precise aquarium heater? Are they being made by stoned rastafarians?

Anyways, after 6 months I am starting to grudgingly appreciate these ones.

This heater easily keeps a 55 gallon tank at 78 degrees (F) where my previous 200 watt glass heater struggled to maintain 68 degrees. I really like the adjustable dial for temperature. No complaints so far.
