Bushnell window mount and mini tripod Mar 09, 2007

This is a good product for the money. The swival action is a little rough at first but smooths out with use. It seperates into two parts, the window mount/swival head is convienently compact and so is best suited for a small to medium size camera...

Maybe ok for a camera but useless for my spotting scope Jun 08, 2008

I had hoped to keep my birding scope at the ready on the deck table but for me this is totally inadequate. Note that it uses the window clamp to attach the scope to the tripod but the tiny clamp doesn't have the strength to grip the tripod tab and the knob slips on the screw if you try to make it sufficiently tight. It might be ok for a small camera, but telescopes need a wider base of support with no play in the moving parts; otherwise your image jumps all about. Do you realize the shortest leg is only 4 inches? Unfortunately-for my use-I made a mistake of buying a toy for a serious need.

Tabletop/window tripod May 13, 2007
By Charles L. Arnold Solid design, sturdy as a taller tripod but easier to carry. Head swivels in
all directions. Ball joint sticks a little but after time may smooth out.
The handle is on the right and makes it a little hard to adjust camera angle
and tighten the head at the same time due to the ball joint stick.

Quick, solid, sturdy and handy May 04, 2008
By kids_bus_driver I video and photo Eagles, Deer, etc., summer and winter. Many times I'll be driving along a back road and "there it/they are"! I drive with this tripod open and ready beside me, able to mount this on the half open window at any given moment and get that "great" shot. Enough said. It does everything I bought it for. Just remember to shut the car off when shooting or the car's vibration will be in the picture or videos.
