Great product! Feb 05, 2007
By APinkRN My birds are happy and much more active in this cage. I only wish it came with directions. It's pretty straight forward, but there has to be an easier way to put it together!

Almost perfect Jul 23, 2009

Love almost everything about this cage. I have a canary, and they like to fly back and forth, not up and down. So, I took out the dowels that came with it, and put in two branches going in the opposite direction. While this provides maximum flying space across the cage, the branches are now right over the feeding and water cups. My bird seems to make his way around, and seems much happier being able to fly back and forth.
Also, note the cage has a wire floor. My canary often takes food out of his tray to the floor, and drops it like he wants to pick at it. But it falls through the cage into the tray below. Someday he'll figure it out! Finally, the tray is easy to pull out, but the cage "sags" a bit when I do, creating quite a bit of shaking in the cage to get it in and out--makes my birdy a little nervous.
Overall, however, I have to say I'm very pleased with the cage, and my bird seems happy here.

Great cage!! Jun 11, 2009

I have two parakeet's, and it is the ideal cage for them. Their wings are not clipped, so they can fly from side to side. It is easy to clean, and maintain. I like the fact that there is one small door at their food dish, and one at their water dish. Also, the two entrance door's are a great concept. You don't have to raise the larger door to do maintainance on the cage, I can use the smaller one. If I open the larger door, and stick my hand in their, the bird's tend to fly out.
I also found it easy to put together.

Poor quality cage Aug 31, 2010

I am appalled by the poor quality of this cage. It is extremely flimsy, very poorly made. The hinges do not fit well at all, and there are gaps in the sides and on the various doors large enough for a small bird to get out from! I had to use plastic ties on all sides of the cage to close these gaps! The white paint barely adheres to the bars and was chipped on hinges and clamps. The doors do not fit flush with the cage - a curious parakeet can easily push them open. The bottom section for the tray to fit into is ridiculously flimsy. I have bought similarly priced flight cages like this in the past - not from this company, obviously - which were similar in design but had FAR better construction materials, fasteners, and finish. If I had any idea that the final product was going to be as bad as it turned out to be, I would have left it in the box untouched and returned it immediately. I regret deeply that I spent $50 on cage and shipping for this piece of junk and that I am stuck with it.

Bird Cage Mar 26, 2008
By Thalia May I love the cage. However, it took a while to get. When I finally did receive it, the box looked like they had been playing basketball with it. When I opened the box, there was some damage to the cage, a little piece had broken of the tray that came with it. Also, some of the bars appeared damaged. It took a little bit to put it back to where we could put the cage together. Once that was done it's a great looking cage.
