Excellent game Dec 18, 2007
By P. Livingston
"Be kind whenever possible. It is always possible."
I smoke outside on my patio, where I play this game. You have three to choose from; Draw, Deuce and Lowball. You can "Let it ride" which is fun to see your points double. The sound is good, not annoying at all. The buttons are kind of rubbery, so it's comfortable and your fingers don't slip. Also, there is a light that goes on during play, so you can play in the dark. This one also has a "silent" mode. The only drawback is that it slows down when the batteries are getting low. It does go through the batteries, but then I play this thing on and off during the day and night. So far, I haven't lost any points while replacing batteries, which is good. This one is my favorite game so far. Great buy!

In three words: Simple, Fun, Addictive Jul 31, 2008
By William Hardin There are hundreds of handheld games out there. Many aren't fun, are poorly designed or simply don't play/work correctly. Then there are some that avoid 2 of the 3 pitfalls. And then there are the BIG SCREEN Radica games. They have the best handheld slot, blackjack, hearts and poker games that I have ever played. They are fun with proper game play. They are tough enough to last through a ton of playing and they are WELL DESIGNED. Just look at the photo of the game above. What strikes you about the game? It doesn't have tiny buttons, or a hard to read screen (heck the screen even lights up during game play). I am not sure what problem that reviewer had that rated it so low with only one complaint about the screen--as you can see from the photo, the screen is SUPER CLEAR. You can play it inside, outside, in the car, on the bus, heck even in line at the DMV. As the other reviewer said, it even keeps scores when you change the battery and it is fun enough it is hard to put down. What more do you need from a handheld game?

BIG SCREEN POKER-BIG REVIEW Oct 15, 2009
By Joe BOYD This game is plenty big enough to see the screen with no problem. Easy operation. No problem using this game in low light areas because the internal lighting is great when play starts and it shuts off automaticly after it is idle for a short time. I received the game in September 2009, so I can't rate battery life yet. It has been used a lot and the original batteries are still in it. Overall, I rate this game at 5 stars. (I'm not sure what rating the "Educational" value should be. After all it is a GAME.)

Big Screen Poker Sep 01, 2009
By Vernon B. Vaughn I ordered this game to replace one that I had bought & used for about 2 years before it stopped working. If I get 2 years' use out of the new one I'll be satisfied. I'm quite pleased with this purchase. Delivery was prompt, the game was in the original packaging & in excellent condition.

Jo-Irish Jun 16, 2009
By Jo-Irish This is the second one I have purchased. The first one I have had for about 2 years. I play it every nite when watching TV during the commercials. Or take it with me if I am going some place that I know I will have a long wait, or in the car if it is a long drive. It really makes the time pass quickly. My eyes are not great so the light is great.
