Train set Nov 13, 2006
By E. Harper My 9 year old son loves the train set. He paid with his own money and has already bought more track and switches. The EasyTrack has a draw back, it is more expensive that regular track, but does look more like a real teack bed.
He loves the train, plays with it for hours and has plans to fill the whole house with trains and track.

Bachmann's Challenger Train Set Review Jan 11, 2007
By David A. Dumsha The train set arrived in plenty of time for Christmas. It assemblied & disassembled easily and quickly. Although small it is sturdy, solid and runs smuthly.

Bachman HO scale Challenger Train Set Dec 24, 2008
By G. Newsom I scouted and looked around with every train making company before choosing Bachman. I thought Bachman offered the higher quality toy so I was willing to pay a little more for the name. Bachman does offer a limited lifetime manufacturers warranty on the package.
This train set is a christmas gift for my handicapped autistic brother who is obsessed with trains and things that go-around. I was suprised when the train fell apart, wheels fell off, etc. The engine is the only part that actually is usable, the cabose and box cars all fell to pieces. The little plastic wheels would not stay on! I have searched high and low for a durable train set! I wished I could find one maybe made of die cast material or something. Good Craftmanship is worth the extra money!
My recommendation is not to buy this particular set because the only part that is worth anything is the train engine itself!
I Could Get Into This Train Thing Dec 15, 2011
By J. Battani Its been years since I "played" with trains. I had Lionel Trains in the late '50's and '60's. I bought this set to place around the base of the Christmas tree. I was pleasantly surprised how easily the tracks went together. The train runs great. I am beginning to think that I need an extra room in my house so I could set up a model railroad layout.
