This is a wonderful thread for soft fashions. The bamboo has a lot more drape than cotton the same weight. It's soft and silky. I wouldn't recommend it for pieces that need the structure and stiffness of cotton, but for handkerchief edgings, shawls, triangle hair scarfs and the like, this is ideal. Because it's so very soft, you may be happier switching from the recommended hook size (7). I'm using a 7 now and I think for the project I'm working on, a larger hook may be better. For something like a bun cover, I'd go one size smaller.
The natural color is gorgeous. It's sort of an eggshell color.
