 Still fun after hundreds of rounds played by all ages. Oct 15, 2007

I bought this game for my young 8 and 10 year old brothers many years ago after stumbling across it in a store. As a member of the board game/card game obsessed I couldn't have purchased a better gift. My brothers loved the game and the adults also really enjoyed it too. When it came to my next regular games night with my fellow 20-something friends I borrowed it from my brothers and here the game showed it's true potential. This has fast become the highlight of every game night and a new set had to be purchased to replace my brothers set which suffered at the hands of our adult hands and slight playing variation.
The premise of this game is somewhat like Scattergories but in a card game. With two decks, one of the alphabet and one catergories, two cards are turned over simultaneously and first player to blurt out a correct answer and/or slap the pile wins the card. The person with the most cards at the end of the game wins. Our variation is if two people think they both answered at the same time or had a better answer than the other then the game turns into "psycho snap" where competitors fight over the card, This, unfortunately, results in cards being bent etc. though now cards have ever been ripped despite our treatment, in retrospect I should have laminated the cards.
This is and I think always will be a game that is great fun for my friends and I which has still not become stale despite hundreds of rounds being played. Most definately worth the money.

This a great game for remedial readers to use in the classroom. It allows them the opportunity to think of words connecting letters, sounds, and symbol, identification by using a multi-sensory approach.

I bought this game for a road trip with our kids (10 and 13). It was a lot of fun but after playing twice it became stale. It is a great concept so we played without the cards and made up our own categories. $[...] seems expensive for what amounts to a deck of cards.

Fun for the kids and sort of interesting for the parents as they listen in. A game that also helps them to think and learn...who'd ah thunk it?

"Not perfect, just forgiven"
My entire family loves this game and we never get tired of playing it. The youngest child in my family that plays it is 7 years old. It's small so it's great for travel. It is difficult to find though. When you do find it, grab it up fast.
