Perhaps my expectations were not realistic, but I think it fades too quickly to "difficult to read" and too slowy to "impossible to read". In my usage of this pen, it never goes away completely, but in about a day you can hardly tell it was there. I was hoping for a pen that looked completely normal a bit longer than this one does, it fades really quick and is a little difficult to read after only a few seconds. This is partly because it starts out so light, I imagine.
